Weaponized String Instruments
Jan. 28th, 2009 08:14 pmOne of the things I like to do in my spare time is browse the violin listings on Ebay. I'll occasionally bid on something if I think there's a chance it could be decent quality and the price won't go that high (haven't won anything yet, though).
I also take the time to laugh at some of the postings, primarily the ones from a few select sellers who are trying to pass off their instruments as genuine Strads, Guarneris, Amatis, etc. These auctions usually have a reserve of somewhere between $50k and $100k.
However, this auction made me laugh for entirely different reasons. Read this awesomeness:
